Winning the war, then winning the peace

Kinshasa has been trumpeting its victory over the M23 rebel group, which is in total disarray in North Kivu. But other rebels are still present. The post-conflict peace now needs to be managed.

Irish airline Ryanair wins legal battle in Charleroi

Six ex-employees believed their case fell under Belgian labor law. Charleroi’s labor court declared that it did not have jurisdiction. The company’s pilots have formed a group and made certain demands.
